Midnight Organ Fight's sleeve is square. Most CD jewel boxes and digipacks are a little wider than they are tall. Hadn't noticed this about MOF before, but it's true.
January 24 is the Empty Bottle date. I'll be late, and miss support, but I'll be there.

so when did Falconi start trolling threads? weird, huh? what's even weirder is that he is judging a band by their name, considering all of the garage and punk stuff he likes with weird names. he always seemed like a stand up guy around here.

I still haven't heard this band. The original link is no bueno. I don't like most indie stuff, though. Do they play like Dave Mustaine or Greg Ginn? Those are my requirements to listen. Or if they are mathy....but not trigonometry-y.

Also, it's been too long since there was a post in this thread. For shame, SOMB!

Nov 17 2008, 07:56 PM
all of the dates ARE announced:
Jan 16 2009 Johnny Brenda’s Philadelphia, PA
Jan 17 2009 Bowery Ballroom New York, NY
Jan 18 2009 Great Scott Allston, MA
Jan 19 2009 The Rock And Roll Hotel Washington, DC, Washington DC
Jan 20 2009 something cool pending maybe
Jan 21 2009 still awaiting that offer from Pittsburgh folks for a house party. if not, it will be a day off.
Jan 24 2009 Empty Bottle Chicago, IL
there will be no more added / announced, guaranteed. and, honestly: tickets are selling fast. these shows will all sell out in advance. that's not me hyping / being a douche... if you want to go to these shows, please buy your tix soon. once they are gone they are gone.
i'm back from tour managing Dungen, so i'll be back to trolling these boards now. what happened with the PMs? they changed the allowances? i didn't get any new PMs, and then suddenly my mailbox was at 250% capacity. strange.
also... i fly to London tomorrow to see FR play the next 7 nights with Death Cab For Cutie, and then head back to Glasgow for their homecoming headline set at King Tut's. happy thanksgiving for me! if anybody has any messages for the boys, please post 'em and i will deliver.
